While retaining a tough, robust profile suitable for splitting firewood, the knife features a skeletonised design with material removed between the blade edge and spine, reducing the weight to just 337 g. The result is a lightweight tool that allows you to fully enjoy bushcraft activities with greater comfort and agility.

The knife features a full tang construction, providing excellent strength and stability for batoning. Because the blade and handle are formed from a single piece of steel, the blade remains securely aligned even under heavy use.

Always baton using the spine of the knife. Striking the cutting edge may cause damage and could be dangerous.

Its lightweight design and excellent manoeuvrability also make detailed carving tasks, such as feather sticking, easier and more precise.

Another standout feature is its exceptional sharpness. Each blade is hand-sharpened by skilled craftsmen from Sakagen Co., Ltd., a long-established Japanese manufacturer renowned for its flower and gardening shears.

Unlike many conventional knives that may suffer tip damage during batoning, the Skeleton Outdoor Knife incorporates a specially reinforced tip design to help resist chipping and breakage.

The grip is wrapped with paracord in a style inspired by the traditional wrapping of a Japanese sword scabbard, while the hooked grip end provides additional security and helps prevent slipping during use.

• The visible lines on the blade are a result of the hand finishing process and are not defects. They do not affect quality or performance.
