The wok surface features the traditional hammered pattern from Tsubame-Sanjo, which increases strength through work hardening. This allows it to stay sturdy while still being light.

The Japanese carbon steel material retains heat well and doesn’t drop in temperature easily, making it ideal for high-heat dishes like crisp vegetable stir-fries and fluffy fried rice.


4. Induction Compatible & Made in Japan

It works with both gas stoves and induction cooktops. Being made in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, ensures reliable Japanese quality.


5. Rust Resistant, Safe Nitriding Process

The wok undergoes an 8 hour nitriding process, hardening the iron surface to resist rust. It contains no silicone or resin coatings, so you can enjoy safe cooking using the natural properties of the metal.


6. Surprisingly Easy Maintenance

Unlike many woks, it doesn’t require the initial “burning” process to remove anti-rust coatings. After seasoning with oil the first time, it becomes less prone to sticking and is relatively easy to care for.
